CD Ripping Problem

Until a few months ago i had no problem copying music from
an audio CD to my media library. However, I then kept
encountering a problem where the song will copy for about
2 seconds then it will say "Windows Media Player
encountered an unknown error". If anyone knows how to fix
this I'd appreciate an e-mail. Thanks.

If you have WMP9, re-install it over the existing setup. SHould clear things
up.

Don't bother fiddling with Media Player, if you want to
rip cd's to mp3's, then get cdex, its free and it rips
cd's to mp3 or wav, and converts mp3 to wav and vice
versa. It also converts mp3's from one bitrate to another
(higher to lower, it doesn't work the other way). Been
using it for over 3 years and no problems. Here's the
website:
http://www.cdex.n3.net/
