cd-dvd-rw drive problem

i have two drives both no older than 8 months

i put a CD-R with backed up files on in this morning and both drives

1 : sony CRX320E cd-rw/dvd-rom
2 : Sony dvd-rw DW-D22A

nothing happens, no icon appears in my computer, nothing

these drives were working fine just yesterday, the drives are spinning disks
up but nothing is happening?

whats goin on?

just got a small error after re boot, memory error

imapi.exe could not be read, with some memory hex value next to it, going to
test again.

If you have memory errors that should be resolved before
running OS anymore, and you might consider reinstalling the
OS and apps.

haha thanks again kony i fiddled with the jumpers a bit and it seems to have
solved the problem
