CD Burn feature

I am having an issue with teh built in CD Burning feature in XP, i can burn
disc's with third party software but it always fails with the XP feature.
Is there a way to repair or reinstall this.

Why would you want XP's watered down recording software when you have third
party software?

Anyway I suppose you have your reasons. Can you tell us exactly what errors
you are seeing with XP's software? Have you tried uninstalling the third
party software and seeing if XP works correctly? Have you checked the CD
writer->Properties->Recording Tab to see if recording is enabled? Some third
party software will disable XP's software when it is being installed.
