catalog files

I can not get SP1 to load. I get the message "Failed to
Load Catalog Files"....

Any suggestions?

I tried to install the patch referenced in article #320556
"Failed to Install Catalog Files" Error Message When You
Install the December 17th, 2001 Security Update"

but it also failed with the same message...

Do you have a Corporate Version of WinXPPro? If not check here. In the
Search for Microsoft Product scroll down to
WinXP and in the Search For Box type: Having Problems installing
SP1 on WinXP.
