cant write any CDS/DVDS........please help

i tried to write a dvd through nero but it gives an error,
which reads, "The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in
memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation
occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll
occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs.
The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new
DLL."
also when i tried to write files through windows, by copying
and pasting files in the dvd drive and then writing it, but
when i tried to paste the files it gives an error saying that
it cannot paste the files.
i have already downloaded important windows updates. i have
also downloaded and installed update 935488, which is
available at,
"http://www.microsoft.com:80/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7
4AD4188-3131-429C-8FCB-F7B3B0FD3D86&displaylang=en".
but i have had no success. please help. i need to write some
files urgently.

Lots of people are reporting the relocation error lately. See if this is it.

Certain third-party applications may not start, and you receive an error
message when you start the computer Illegal System DLL Relocation:

Did you disabled IMAPI and tried 3rd party burning software like Nero?
