Can't share printers in Win2K3

Error message 'failed to save printer settings. Remote connections
to the print spooler are being blocked by a policy on your machine'. I
changed to policy to allow but still the same message when trying to share
printer. Any ideas??? thanks

Nothing in the event logs on this. Just the message Error message 'failed
to save printer settings. Remote connections to the print spooler are being
blocked by a policy on your machine' when trying to share the printer. I
changed the policy 'computer configuration; administrative templates;
printers - allow print spooler to accept client connections' and even
checked it with Resultant Set Of Policy but I still get the message.

Hello,

Is this the windows 2003 Web Server Edition that you are using?

If yes, Windows 2003 Web Server Edition does not support print server
functions and thus you are not allowed to share a printer. You will need to
use either Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition.

Thanks! You are correct. I had a similar problem with ftp. The web
edition doesn't do much.
