Can't send or receive email

I tried to help my friend who can't send or receive email using Outlook
Express. All of the settings are correct and she can open Internet Explorer
to her home page. Last week I uninstalled IE 7 and then the email worked fine
for about 8 days. Now it is not working again (IE 6 is still installed).
Can someone help try to figure this out. Is there a way to remove Outlook
Express and then reinstall it? Thank you

The first thing to look at is your firewall,check the settings.

Ask in a group with OE in the title. Notice that this group lacks
