Can't send images by e-mail.

I am not able to send images/pictures by Windows Mail (using MS Vista)
although text documents transmit as attachments with no trouble. I follow the
path provided in Windows Photo Gallery & reduce the size to 'small' or
'smaller' to no avail. Windows Mail shows the message as sent but it is not
received & McAfee reports it as not sent.

Get rid of McAffe, it is incompatible with WM.

Use Avast with email scanning omitted.

Thanks but I've spoken to a McAfee technician via live mail & he assures
me
that McAfee VirusScan Plus 2007 is fully compatible with 32 bit Windows
Vista. My search for a solution will have to continue.

Doh!!!

"He would do wouldn't he?" - Mandy Rice-Davis

Search high and low for an admission by Norton
that the preinstalled version sold by Dell and HP
is incompatible and I bet you wont' find it
but here we KNOW that it isn't.

As if any one from Norton would say...

"Well, yes... it is a POS!"

LOL

You don't suppose that the McAfee tech might have some ulterior motive
for giving a thumbs up to his employer's product?
Don't be naïve. Believe the collective wisdom of the experts here who
have no ax to grind.

If the guy from McAfee is so smart
I wonder why he didn't fix the problem?

If the technician is so sure that McAfee is not causing a problem, then
uninstalling shouldn't fix your problem.
Until you uninstall, you haven't ruled out McAfee.
