cant send email

The above message is what I receive. I can receive email, but not send.

thanks for the link. it appears that my mcafee anti-virus is not compatible
with windows vista and windows mail. it was working before but i can receive
but not send emails.

I have unistalled McAfee, installed AVG, turned off its email scanner. Still
can receive, cannot send.

It's possible that the email account was corrupted by the antivirus
scanner. Create a new email account with the same settings as
the original, then delete the original account. Close WinMail, open
it, and try sending. If it still doesn't send, is there an error message?
If so, copy the error message and post it here.
