can't send e-mails

all of suddenly I am getting this error message any suggestions?

Subject 'dodge Durango', Account: '(e-mail address removed)', Server:
'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 SIZE 20971520',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

That server doesn't support the SSL option.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
then uncheck the SSL option.
