Hi

I'm experiencing a funny thing.

When i post a message to a newsgroup, i can't se the posting myself. I can
se the responses i get and i can se the earlier postings i have maid, prior
to reinstalling vista a couple of weeks ago due to a hd-crash...

I had the same problem when first installing vista, but it solved itself.

I have set my windows mail to see all messages and use no filtering other
than any default settings....

Anybody know how to solve this problem??

I had a similar problem when I first started using Windows Mail.

Then I noticed that in the responses my real e-mail address was showing, I went
to the General tab of the Properties tab of Microsoft Communities and put in a
fake e-mail and my original post started to appear.

Maybe just changing your e-mail address would work for you.

Hi Cal

Well, i'v tried that now and it did'nt seem to have any effect. Even nulled
a newsgroup and refetched all headers and still my postings did not appear.
Just like the last time, but at that time they became visible all of the
sudden and then i did not change my email adress either...

Tnx for the input though, but in this case it did not solve my problem

Hi Cal....

I found the solution...

I wondered what would be a possibillity, considering your suggestion about
the email adress....

I went back and found an earlier news-posting of mine and went to the
un-wanted mail filter and added myself (my email adress) to the list of
trusted emails and then i could se my postings.

I'v tried in all the groups i subscribe to, nulled the group and downloaded
the headers again and now i can se my own postings...

So, all you apparently have to do is to add yourself to the trusted list...
Funny that this does not happen automatically...

Tnx again for your infor though, since it got me to experiment with the
email as foundation...
