Can't save pictures in Explorer as jpg

Rene Wong

All of a sudden I've noticed that if I want to save any pictures from
websites using Internet Explorer, I can only save them as BMP files and not
JPG. Any suggestions on how to set it back so that I can save pictures as
jpg?

It's time to perform some Spring Cleaning:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.

A known problem resulting from a full browser cache. Delete your temporary
Internet files.

In Internet Explorer click Tools> Internet Options> General tab. Click
"Delete Files"
