can't receive emails

I have set up a Gmail account that's working fine: sending an receiving.
I want to have my Gmail go to Windows Mail but I don't know how to do it....
I am able to send mail from Windows Mail BUT CAN NOT RECEIVE MAIL.
Can anyone HELP me, PLEASE. I'm new at this...I just set up high speed and
need help.
