Can't open tif image with Imaging

I'm trying to open a .tif image using Imaging(kodakimg.exe), but
everytime it comes up, it would close right away. When opening using
the Imaging Preview (kodakprv.exe) it works fine, but somehow I can't
print from there. I have tried other tif images and same thing
happens, opens then closes right away. On another computer with the
same tif image, it opens up just fine. I copied the kodakimg.exe from
the working computer to the non-working one, and still got the same
problem. Help!!

Not yet, perhaps if you elaborate, someone can help you fix the problem.
Try re-posting the question and details related to why you cant open tif
files, and be sure to qute any error messages or other pertinent
information.

Are there differences in the operating systems or configurations between the
two computers? What are the sizes of the .tif files you are trying to open?
Could it be something as simple as memory or disk space limitations?

Both computers are using Windows 2000 pro. The size of the .tif file
is only 20k. There are plenty of memory and disk space. I have opened
many applications all at once and they all work just fine. It's just
when I try to open the Kodak Imagaing that nothing really happens. All
it does is opens then closes right away. There are no errors popping
up or anything like that.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application on the PC that
is giving you problems? Are there any "significant" differences between the
two machines at least as far applications installed, anti-virus programs,
etc.?
