Can't open .mdb data file

Access XP: I trade a background data .mdb file back and forth with the person
who does data entry to it. We email a zipped file. I most recently got the
message:
"Microsoft Access cannot open this file.
This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site.
Microsoft Acess will not open the file due to potential security problems."
The file is not used on a network. I can link to the file thru my front-end
program .mdb with no problem.
All the answers that I can find involve networks or url addressing.

Its because you received it in email. Save the file to your hard drive
somewhere, then rightclick it and go to properties - there's an option to
trust this file type.
