cant load norton anti-virus

while doing a search for norton i came up with almost
300 instances dummy that i am decided to delete all
and then reload norton sys works wont let me
reloaded windows figuring that i must have deleted
something from windows still wont let me
any ideas would be appreciated for i
have no virus protection at present
