Cant launch Favorites from Address bar

Hello all

I have a problem launching Favorites' link from Address
bar in the IE6.0. As soon as I type ,say cam, in address
bar due to autocomplete "Cambridge Online Dictionary" (the
name I gave when stored that link) appears in the address
bar. I select that name and I go to the page. But it does
not work with all the pages in the Favorites. So I have to
find up and down in the long menu of Favorites to get to
that specific web site.
So how can every link that is stored in Favorites be
launced just typing its name in the address bar?

Thanks a lot.

Rename them to be something that comes up quicker?

I suspect that either you are typing the wrong thing,
e.g. the Favorite's URL address instead of its name,
or not typing enough to clearly display what you are looking for.
Related to that notice that if you are typing a URL you should not type
the www. server name prefix. Just start typing the domain name.
Also notice that the AutoSuggest dropdown box can be resized.
Enlarging it could help you spot things in large lists quicker.

BTW if you know that the thing you want to use is in Favorites,
instead of using the Address bar use the Favorites menu (Alt-a,...)
That way you avoid seeing everything else that AutoSuggest will
bring up using the first few letters you type.

Unfortunately navigation in the Favorites menu is limited to at most
two characters but if you rename your Favorites and reorder them
by frequency of use instead of sorting them alphabetically you may
find the ones you use most often faster. In fact, if you rename a
Favorite so that its first character is unique it will launch itself automatically
as soon as that character is typed.

Hello!
I posted this message origianally, but found the solution.
Anyway I thought it would be helpful who might come back
to see at the post.

Lets say I have a sub folder, My Stuff. If you type
letter "m" then address bar will show a drop down of
items. First names that r in the Favorites then the name
of sub folders, of course both starting with letter "m".

If you select name (one in the Favorites), it will take u
straight to the web site corresponding to the address it
contains. But, if u select the sub folder, My Stuff, then
all you have to do to get links in it is type "\". This
will make all links in the sub folder appear. Now
typing "a" will result in the names starting with "a" but
those in the My Stuff folder.

Every other suggestions will be welcome.
