grrrr, i have just completely formatted and re installed windows, due to the
huge amount of junk built up on it. (this on my other laptop) and then i only
have a wireless router connection at home. (before it ws formatted wireless
was there) I go onto my control panel to set up the wi-fi and theres no
wireless options, i have followed every guide there is in how to find the
wireless settings, and it appears to just not be there.i then tried to save
SP2 onto my flash drive and install it on the other computer. and it says i
need version sp2 or above to install it????? and i was trying to install sp2.
any help would be greatly appreciated, links ect.

thanks v much, Al

If you re-installed Windows, make sure you have installed the drivers for
your wireless network card. I think Windows won't show you wireless settings
if it doesn't see a wireless network card installed.
