Can't install service pack 2

i can't install service pack 2. automatic updates says that it's downloaded
onto my computer and ready to install but i won't do anything. i tried to
update it on the windows site. didn't work. any ideas? oh yeah, i think i
downloaded SP2 this past winter but uninstalled some hotfixes 'cause i didn't
like what they did to my computer

Try it from CD, perhaps your connection is burping in the middle or you have
security software that's preventing the installation.
