Can't get sound when viewing on TV through S-Video lead

I've got my monitor viewed through my TV via an S-Video lead from my graphics
card. I get a perfect picture on my DVD's through windows media player but
can't get audio. Does the S-Video lead allow sound to transmit as well as
audio or do I need to set up an audio lead from my sound card, and if so, how?

S-video is video only. You can connect your sound card output to the TV
audio jacks with an inexpensive cable; has a 1/8" stereo plug on one end
to connect to the Line Out on the sound card and two RCA plugs (right
and left) to connect to the RCA audio input jacks on your TV.

S Video is purely for Video; you will need an independent lead for the
sound: there may be a sound out connection on the graphics card, or use
the Line Out on the sound card. Usually this means a cable with a
mini-stereo plug at computer end, and a pair of RCA ones at the TV

i have to do to view from my tv. Can you help with the commands i need to

S-Video is video only. You will have to connect your sound card to your
TV's audio input
