Can't find wab dll file in Vista Windows Mail

I click on a digital photo in the Windows Photo Gallery, select the Email
droop down menu at the toop of the screen, select Attach and then I get the
error "An error occurred with attempting ot oopen the Windows Address Book.
Unable to find the WAS DLL. MAPI 1.0 [00000220].

The contacts are present in the Mail program, it just doesn't go beyond this
point. It used to since I upgraded to Vista, but seems not to work now. Any
thoughts?

Sounds like it is looking for Outlook. This should work with Windows Mail,
since it works fine on my PC.

Go to Default Programs, which you can access either from the Start menu
or via the Control Panel, then click the first item: "Set your default programs."
After a few seconds a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows Mail.
If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by
clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

Thanks for the reply. You were right on the mark! Windows Mail only had "1
of 3 defaults". I clicked on the first green arrow as you suggested, closed
the program down. I then tried to email a photo and presto! It works fine.
Thanks again!
