I have updated to SP2 and now I cant get any web pages. I have AOL (and
earthlink, although it works...) How do I get in to the firewall to let AOL
web pages to load? I can log in, read mail and go to chat, but no internet
surfing... HELP

The XP Firewall is not compatible with AOL. You will need to turn off the
XP firewall when using AOL and note, it is not advisable to run with no
firewall at all so you might want to first check to see if your AOL software
includes a firewall. To turn off the XP firewall, open Control Panel, open
Windows Firewall and disable it.

SP2 adds a new item/icon to the Control Panel called "Security Center".
Double-click the icon to open the center; then you can access the Firewall.
By the way, DO NOT run two Firewalls at the same time. That means that if
you have a third party Firewall such as Norton's, McAfee, or Zone Alarm,
etc, use it and disable the Windows Firewall to prevent conflict and/or
redundancy.
