Can't find RECYCLER directory

J

john

Norton anti-virus identified some adware files that should be removed from
the C:\RECYCLER directory. I have enabled the "show hidden files and
folders" option, but I still don't see a RECYCLER directory on the C: drive.
Has anyone else experienced this problem ?

Go back to folder options and make the change to show system protected
files. Or just empty your Recycle Bin.

That is the recycle bin on an NTFS drive. You need to empty the bin;
and if you have multiple user accounts you will need to login on each
and empty; there is a separate 'sub-bin' in Recycler for each account

(to see it also needs having View - Hide protected mode system files
unchecked)
