Hi, anybody out there ever had this erro
"RECYCLER\S-2-0-89-100021175-100027313-4096.com." when attempting t
open C:\ ?
I can view the contents of my drive only with explore command, also,
have run many anit-spyware, malware, spyboy, anti-virus etc. nothin
seems to correct the problem. In addition, RECYCLER folder is not i
the Windows directory despite show hidden folders enabled.

Anyone with an idea will be appreciated.

PS: I noticed the number sequencing changes with every attempt a
double clicking the drive

Thanks Kelly and Elmo.

The AutorunEater worked at eliminating the error. Now when I doubl
click C:\, XP opens the search files menu. While that is ok, I do no
know why I can not just display the contents of the drive the way X
worked prior to the earlier error.
Further, this error would not allow system restore, as a result, I ca
not go back to an earlier time before this error showed up.

More idea's?
