Can't find my address book or appointments to transfer

My computer died. I've since bought a new one and converted the old hard
drive into an external. I've been able to import my old emails into outlook
without any trouble, but my appointments and my address book both remain lost
in the ether. Please help, this is kind of a huge crisis.

Since all Outlook data resides in only one file, one must wonder how you
managed to to that. Perhaps you should tell us, precisely, including your
Outlook version.
You never transfer Outlook data by importing.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
