Can't find High Definition audio bus driver from Microsoft

Hello

I am re-installing everything on an HP Pavilion a1215uk PC.

When I try to install the audio drivers from the HP web site I get this
message:

Your system does not have Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA)
High Definition Audio bus driver installed.
You must install this driver before installing the Realtek High Definition
audio drivers.
you can obtain the UAA HD audio bus driver from Microsoft.

PC is running XP Home SP2. I have updated everything - still doesn't want
to install the Realtek driver. Seems to be no information about this on the
Realtek website. I don't have the HP restore CD - client has lost it. No
sign of any High Definition Audio bus drivers on MS website - lots of white
papers etc though.

Anyone come across this? How to resolve? Is my only option to call HP?

Angus

http://support.asus.com/download/download_item.aspx?product=3&model=W3V
look for the download called "Version KB888111" (ctrl+f 888111)
I downloaded it, backed up, installed it, nothing happened, after a fair
while of waiting the computor once again told me "we found new hardware" so I
click the balloon, then I told it to auto-search and after that it found the
files I had just installed lol. Well thats how I solved my problem, I CAN
HEAR SOUNDS NOW! thanks for your help people, just PLEASE remember this is
the answer
