"Can't find dynamic link"

I have just installed a new COMPAQ Presario, running XP (P2). Everytime I
boot-up I get the following message: "Can't locate CCAPP.exe dynamic link"
further message: "The procedure entry point WNetnumbcashedpasswords could
not be located in the dynamic link library MPR.dll"

This message also shows up when I run Pagemaker. All of my programs are
legit and there are no bootleg programs on my computer.

Is there a way to tell the computer to look for the link?

FYI, ccapp.exe is related to Norton AntiVirus. Perhaps reparing NAV may
help.
Even better to get rid of NAV and install Grisoft AVG, IMHO.
