can't erase CD-RW

Here is another inconsistent problem I have with XP Pro, Easy CD Creator
5.3.5.10 and CD-RW. I have two identical disk from the same manufacture even
from the same box. I formatted both on Win2K with Easy CD Creator 5.3.5.10
(UDF I believe). One under XP Pro and Easy CD Creator 5.3.5.10 can't be
erased but has to be formatted each time I want to reuse it. The other
erases and can be reused just fine. I have similar inconsistencies with
other disk brands also. What is causing this?

Two things to consider here (based on my experiences with Roxio). Either
toss the CDs, or upgrade to Creator 6 Platinum.............and, NO, I am not
pushing their software.....just had similar problems with Creator 5.

Thanks for your reply. Creator 6 Platinum also has some features I want. It
will do Video CD right?

Another CD-RW inconsistency I have noticed is sometimes Quick Format isn't
available.
