Can't Edit Contacts

John

For some reason, when I double click on a contact in my contacts folder, I
get a brief flash of a program opening and then closing. So I can never edit
the contacts. Also, I no longer have email addresses when I click the TO
button to get an email address. I get an "unable to choose recipients"
error message. Vista Business.
Any suggestions?

Which antivirus are you running?
Do you have Office 2000 installed?

Apparently Office 2000 is not compatible with Vista's Windows Contacts.
In the past few days I've seen 3 or 4 separate problem reports about this.
The only fix is uninstalling Office 2000. Office 2003 (and later) is fully
compatible with Vista.

John thanks for the less expensive answer. I think this problems stems from
about 6 months ago when the solution to getting MS Office 2000 to work with
Vista required moving the WAB32.DLL file to this location, which I did and
now it appears that the most recent update fixed the problem and now the file
needs to be removed. THis fixed both my problem with using the contacts in my
email message and for being able to edit my contacts or create new contacts.

Again thanks.
