Hopefully the only 12 y.o to install and use Vista

I keep trying to donwload the Vista RC1 so I can upgrade from Beta 2, but
everytime, it ends up with a file of 720 bytes instead of 2.52 Gigabytes.

Anyone else had the same problem? What Should I do?

Is that the ".txt" file when you double-click on the ".iso" file you
downloaded? If it is, you need to "burn the image to a DVD" with your
preferred DVD burning software suite so that you can install Vista. You can
not simply download the file and then click on it to install it.

If you are still having issues downloading, try using either just a straight
download in IE or download Free Download Manager and download the ISO with
that. Also try the Akamai download manager again, sometimes it works other
times it doesn't. Just keep trying.

I had "fatal errors" and bad checksums with Akamai. Free Download Manager
always quit somewhere between 61% and 75%. I finally used Net Transfer at
www.net-xfer.com and got it on the first try. I have Vista up and running now.
It was a good solid download.
