Can't delete Printer

I can't delete a printer. When I right click on the icon and click Delete,
I get the message, "Printer name typed
incorrectly or server connection lost". The printer is no longer installed
in the network. It was installed as a printer connected to a former
computer. However, the name of the former computer was assumed by a newer
machine. I think I need to manually delete the elements, can someone give
me the registry keys? (Printer name is: "EPSON2550 on Jim".)

Jim,

Didn't you ask this question a few weeks ago? If so, I answered it then
otherwise I answered the same question for someone else instead

I could give you the registry key to delete the said object then all I will
get from Elephant Boy computers is that I complicated it plus he will throw
his toys out of the pram. However, I did give the registry key in my
original reply, if that helps

No, but I did post it yesterday, however, when I looked for that post, I
couldn't find it, dunno why--I did find it now. I did look for you post
some weeks ago, but it didn't turn up. Would you please repeat the key?
(There's nothing left in any print cue. Any other thoughts on why this
doesn't just Delete?) (Sorry for the double post all.)

Did you first check to make sure that no jobs are in the printer queue?
Since that's the most common reason for inability to delete a printer
rather than incorrect registry settings.
