Can't delete a network Bridge

Just finished a PC repair- motherboard replaced - because of the following
problem.

I've lost my internet connectivity ... it was working OK and I made no
changes, it just stopped!

When I go to the network connections and click on properties nothing
displays. No Client for Microsoft Networks, File and Printer Sharing for
Microsoft Networks, or Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

Things I've done to fix:

Deleted Ethernet connection in Device Manger and reboot
Deleted both Ethnet and Firewire in Device Manager and reboot
Swapped out network cables to see if bad cable.
Restore to previous configuration
Replace Motherboard (Ethernet connection on board)
Using another connected PC, created a network disk using the Network Wizard

Nothing worked!!

Network connections indicate a "Network Bridge" but none exists. It can't
be deleted and I never installed one.

There is an error log stating that the DHCP depends on the SYMTDI service
which failed to start because the system cannot find the specified file.

HELP!!!!
