Can't connect to network printers

Bruce

Hi,

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

I am running Windows XP on a peer-to-peer network. I could print without
difficulty until recently. Now I can't print to any of the network
printers. When I try nothing happens. The print job doesn't even appear in
the print queue. The printers' status is "Access denied, unable to
connect." I can browse the Web and see other computers on the LAN in Windows
Explorer/Entire Network. Also, I can't add a new printer, since the network
printers don't appear in the Wizard.

I don't want to use System Restore if I don't have to.

Thanks.

J.

Don't do a system restore before you correct your Clock, and or, Time zone
settings.

On the computer the printer is hooked up to: Is the printer shared?
It sounds like if you were to go to that computer and right click the
printer driver and click properties then Share would not be selected under
the Share tab.
