Can't Change User Pictures

I'm using WinXP Pro (Media Edition) and it has stopped allowing me to change
the user pictures for logins. I get the message "Automation server can't
create object" when I select a picture. Any ideas what's happening?

Click Start, Run and type: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

If you have recently disabled windows picture and fax viewer as the default

I haven't attempted to change my login picture since I
disabled the fax viewer,and would't have thought of this
consequence until reading your post Thank you
