Can't change background

I accidentally set a corporate logo as my background and no matter which
picture I now choose for background, the coporate logo still comes up. How do
I get rid of it? I think it got on there when I clicked on something to do
with Active Desktop.

Go to the Display applet in Control Panel and look on the Desktop tab. Click
on Customize Desktop, and then click on the Web tab. You will see that
there are checkmarks next to "My Current Home Page" and probably "Lock
Desktop Items". Uncheck these and Apply. Now set your background to "None"
and Apply. Now set your background to the desired picture, Apply/OK out.
