can't burn pictures

I have a CD-RW drive. On the front it says compact disc
rewritable, which I thought meant that I could burn
pictures. But with a blank CD-R disc (which says music,
by the way) inserted, and with files selected, copy to CD
does not appear as an option under picture tasks. Can
anyone help me to figure out my problem? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I hope someone knows how

to fix it. Mine did work--but now it doesn't.

To get the Copy to CD under Picture tasks, you need to select some photos to
copy first. If the command is still not there, here is how to get it back.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between .....32 and SHI...
This will take a second to run and the command should now be listed.

I found the solution to my problem, which I hope will
help you. If you go to My Computer and right click on
the icon for your CD drive, then click on properties, and
then click on recording, there should be a check in the
box saying enable recording on this drive. Mine was not
checked for some reason. After checking it everything
seems fine. Hope this helps. Carol
