Whenever I type in an internet address in the address bar, something causes
IE to add an additional www. and .com, .net or .org to the web address
causing IE to not be able to display the internet page/website that I am
attempting to go to. For example, if I type in www.microsoft.com IE will
search for www.www.microsoft.com.org
I've been told that this is due to spyware and have ran all combatting tools
that I can think of (Ad-Adware, Spybot, Earthlink Spyware scan and the new
Microsoft Anti-Spyware program), none have been able to fix the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be or what can fix it?
