Cant browse but internet works

I have a network with a wireless router and on my XP laptop everything works, browsing, internet apps, everything. But on my Vista Home Pro desktop the browser doesn't work. All other internet apps work and my dns works because I can ping sites in command prompt. But whenever I open IE, it always says "connecting to 192.168.0.1" on the bottom instead of the site that I enter. I don't have any other browsers on this machine. I guess this a router issue, but all other internet things work so I don't understand.

Any help much appreciated, thanks.
