can't access camera wizard in xp

I just got a new Olympus C5050 camera. When I go to my
pictures to download my pictures there is no "get
pictures from camera or scanner" when I connect the usb
cable & turn on the camera a removable disk (G) screen
opens with a DCIM file folder in it. When I try to use
the add an imaging device after going through the set up
wizard I get a "computer cannot detect camera or scanner"
