canon flatbed 63ou installing drivers in windows xp professional

I have just bought a new computer [pentium 4. 3 gig. 800 front side bus.with hyper threding. I am having trouble installing the new xp drivers for the "canon fb63ou scanner",i had no problems with my old computer, running windows xp professional. I bought the printer a "canon bjc 3000" and it installed with no problems, but i am having problems installing my scanner drivers. Any help would be much appreciated. giovanni
