Cannot view pictures on single website

I am a paid-up subscriber to the website www.animationfactory.com and have
always had no trouble getting onto it. But suddenly, their site takes ages
to load and the pictures show up as white squares with a red x in them.
Their support section tells me it's probably due to an update I've
downloaded, but I can't see how this would be the case as it doesn't happen
with any other sites. I have looked through the different threads in this
newsgroup and found several things to try but some of them look really
technical and I don't really want to mess about reloading Windows. As this
problem only relates to the one website, does anyone have any easy
suggestions as to what I can do? I have made sure it is on my 'trusted'
sites listing.

I have right-clicked on the red x'd items and checked Properties, but where
it's supposed to say what type of file it is, it just says 'not available'.
They are nearly all jpegs or gifs, I know from past experience.

Hi,
(Assuming WindowsXP) If you're running a third-party firewall, turn on the
Windows Firewall (Control Panel> Windows Firewall) and disable (as a test)
the non-MS firewall. You may have to change settings.

Take a look at other third-party security, privacy, ad-blocking programs.
Any of them set to block scripts, scripting, active content, animations?

McAfee Privacy Service has been a problem recently. Disable it if it's
installed.

Try clearing the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

See the other possibilities at http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm

Reinstalling IE should not be necessary.

Hope this helps,
Don

Thanks !!! Found out it was my Beta1 spyware I recently downloaded from
Microsoft. Will just have to make sure its settings are adjusted before I
use the animationfactory.com site, unless there's a way to 'allow' it from
with the Beta program???
