Cannot view messages on Microsoft Outlook Web Access

Recently I cannot seem to get my messages from Microsoft Outlook Web Access.
All it says is just "Loading..." and then the error on page appears on the
status bar.

The error icon says "automation server cannot create object". Can someone
help? Is there a setting on the Tools>Internet Options>Security Level that I
need to change.

What happens if you add the host (in the URL to which OWA connects) to
the Trusted Sites security zone? Maybe your Internet security zone
doesn't permit ActiveX or scripts.

Hi,
The Exchange Server may need to be updated by the IT Staff/ Server Admin.
You receive an error message when you try to perform any editing tasks, or
you must click to enable the compose frame in Outlook Web Access
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=911829

Or try this workaround (from an archived post)
When you log on to OWA below your username and password choose the Basic
mode instead of premium.

Hope this helps,

Firstly, my office IT Dept doesn't support our home PCs even when we have a
problem with the company websites.

I read the link you gave - I have Windows XP and not Vista. Also the
symptoms listed there do not apply to mine. I just cannot see the emails that
I have in the Inbox. It just keeps saying "Loading..." and nothing appears.

When I log in, I cannot choose whether Premium or Basic - it just takes me
to the Outlook Access mailbox.

Thanks

Hi,
Which version of Internet Explorer? IE6 or IE7?

Picking up on Vanguard's theme, have you recently installed or updated a
security program which could be blocking ActiveX?

Hi,
Can't hurt... might help- clear the Temporary Internet Files.

Then, from Internet Options> General> Browsing history> Settings> View
objects, set View to Details. Do any ActiveX objects show as damaged? If so,
remove the damaged object and restart the computer.

Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> click on Default Level.

Turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall and
disable third-party security programs, firewalls, security suites, as a
test. One of them may be the cause.

Hello Don

I did try all that beforehand. Anyway I have resolved the issue. It was an
XML DOM add-on that I needed to enable.

Thank you for helping me out.
