AOL doesn't use the default port number 25...

Cynthia, If you have a virus program, disable the check on e-mail and restart
CU. Had the same problem with my new CU.

Here is the link for AOL account set up : NOTE : it says for Outlook
Express, but it is also good for Windows Mail.

Various e-mail providers could have different account set-up settings.
If you don't know the difference, please refrain yourself from giving
advice, unless you are 100% certain that it does apply to the particular
problem.
