Cannot send emails anymore.

It seems i'm having the same problem as a few of you. I cannot send emails
from my laptop anymore. My laptop is only a few months old and when I first
got it and set up my email account on it, it worked fine. For the past 2
months I have been unable to send emails from it from my home network, but if
I am on the road and connected to Wi Fi then I can send them fine. Here is
the error message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server:
'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Originally the port number was 25 and i tried changing it to 465 like some
of you where having others with this similar problem do, but it did not help
me.
