cannot send and receive http mail through msn

I no longer can send/receive mail through my MSN mailbox in Outlook 2002 (XP)
I do have what Qwest calls "Choice DSL Deluxe w/MSN" which I believe means
"premium." The configuration appears to be correct. I keep getting the
little blue box "Internet E-Mail MSN. Please enter your user name and
password for the following server" (Everything is already there and correct.
When I hit enter, I get
"Access to the account was denied. Verify that your user name and password
are correct. The server responded 'Invalid login.'
I have disabled my McAfee SpamKiller. Any suggestions?

when did it start? I'd wait a few days and see if it clears up as this is a
common msn problem. if that account qualifies for the outlook connector,
install it - but I have no idea how to determine if it does, unless you can
log into the msn member center and check your account.

It's been acting up over a week now., with no end in sight.
Outlook Connector appears to be for those who need to check mail with IBM
Lotus Domino servers. I don't fit that.
