cannot run any application

i posted this question somtime back but did'nt get any response
when i want to run any application (office,acad,acrobat,...|) in my computer
i recieve this message
"cannot find the file <filename> (or one of its components) make sure the
path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available"
and when i click in a file that creat with this application i can open it !
please help me

I cannot run this application too

Did you eliminate the possibility of a virus?

Are your desktop/start menu shortcut targets enclosed in quotation
marks? For Example:
"C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6\Ad-aware.exe"
Note the "at each end".

Can you launch an application from the Run command box if you enclose it
in quotation marks?

Is this entry in your registry?

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command]
@="\"%1\" %*"


If you are sure you have no virus then if this can help:
