Cannot read CD when Roxio CD creator used

CCR

My husband is trying to create a CD with photo's on it
for me, but once he writes anything onto the CD, my
computer refuses to recognize the CD (even though it does
recognize it before my husband's comp writes on it). We
are both using XP. Does anyone know what I can do to
read files created from his comp?

I do not have Roxio - could that possibly be the issue?

desperately wanting photos...

Sounds like he's using Roxio's DirectCD to Drag and Drop the files to CD.
This is known as Packet Writing or UDF and XP does not natively read UDF
written CD's. If you plan on veiwingthe pictures on other computers, You
should burn the file to CD normally, just using EZ CD creator to create a
Data CD rather then Drag and drop.

If you want to just veiw them on your computer, You need to install
DirectCD on your system.

You need to install the UDF viewer application on your computer
(www.roxio.com), or your husband needs to set up DirectCD to include it
on the CD so it can be viewed by anyone.
