Cannot ping my router...help

this is my connection. . .

192.168.100.135 - Gateway to connect to internet
192.168.100.74 - My computer IP Address
192.168.100.221 - Static IP Address of the router
192.168.0.1 - IP address router(set as DHCP server) LINKSYS ROUTER
Laptop w/ dhcp LAN setting

From my computer I cannot ping 192.168.100.221, but if i am using the laptop I have internet, i can ping the my computer.....what is the problem...need your helpp.....
