cannot open java

my operating sys is xp proff.
when ever i am trying to open java chat its not responding
and i cant go into that chat.
actually when i first opened java chat using xp, i got a
message box stating the downlaod this component and by
mistake i clicked the message box stating the never
download this component and from that day i couldnt enter
the java chat .
if at all i can change that pls tell me where i can find
that option.
