Cannot make changes to wireless networks

I set up WEP security on my network but my wireless laptops won't take any
changes to the wireless networks configuration: at least one of your changes
was not applied successfully to the wireless configuration

Anything I try to do in the configuration, it gives that error message. I'm
logged in as administrator....
